Haines Steel Pot with Glass Lid and Cooking Sleeve

I’m very impressed. On a 76 F day, I was able to boil potatoes and eggs (potato salad). It took about 4 hours and turned out perfect. The customer response was very fast and efficient.. i feel very confident that I can cook most anything. I highly recommend this.

haines 2.0 is the best solar cooker i own. it is my go-to cooker. i have several of them.

Very fast delivery

We love cooking with this unit and it is indeed well-constructed, but… The pot lid comes with the **** unassembled. The escutcheon that goes on the underside of the lid comes in a plastic bag. It has razor thin edges and my wife badly cur her finger while removing the piece. She was bleeding for days afterward it cut so deep. These parts need to be filed or machined to a smooth dull edge. Really.

Best value on the market as the Haines Solar Cooker includes an ideal pot with the purchase. The stand to raise the pot and the enclosing domed cover make this thing efficient and easy to use.
